We believe that all young people deserve the opportunity to flourish

Tomorrow's Enterprise Foundation was created to give all young people access to meaningful opportunities in life through the transformative power of business and enterprise education.

We particularly support young people facing disproportionate barriers to employment with a key focus on working with young people from minority communities, low-income families and those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Our programmes are designed around seven key principles:

  1. To enable all young people to thrive regardless of their academic achievements.

  2. To reduce the number of young people not in employment, education or training (NEET).

  3. To provide engaging education for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

  4. To provide meaningful post-16 employment opportunities.

  5. To close the national skills gap.

  6. To inspire and empower the next generation of purpose-driven entrepreneurs and business leaders.

  7. To champion the concept of 'business as a force for good'

Tomorrow's Enterprise Foundation was inspired by the work of Tomorrow's Company

We retain a strong link to Tomorrow's Company and their ethos, using their many decades of knowledge and wisdom as the inspiration for our enterprise programmes.

Tomorrow’s Company is an independent, pioneering not-for-profit think tank. For more than thirty-five years, they’ve been bringing business and society together to address some of society's greatest challenges through research, innovation, advocacy and collaborative action.

In
2020, Tomorrow's Company set about reinvigorating the teaching of business with a view to inspiring a new generation of purpose-led entrepreneurs, business leaders and employees.

Their first enterprise education programme wss the 'Applied Business Module'; an eight-week programme of theoretical and practical enterprise education for first year business undergraduate university students. This programme was co-designed by The University of East Anglia and continues to be delivered there to this day.

In 2023, Tomorrow's Company took the framework of the Applied Business Module and developed a pioneering enterprise education programme designed specifically for secondary school students. This programme was code named 'Project: Can Do'.

During
2024, the pilot programmes achieved great success at a number of schools around the UK. Each student who graduated from the programmes was invited to contribute ideas to improve the content, and so the initial concept programme was further improved and expanded into the programme as it exists today.

In
2025, Tomorrow's Enterprise Foundation was launched as an independent not-for-profit organisation, operating under the guidance and support of the Tomorrow's Company and it's Advisory Board, and introducing a host of new team members to help deliver the programme around the UK.
